Well Christmas has passed us by and here comes another year! We are still waiting for little Matthew to join us as it would be a perfect time while I'm on break from school. We have been enjoying this time together, but wish we could be with you guys for the hollidays. Here are a few pics of the kids with Santa. We love and miss all of you.

We're back from BVI!

Hi guys!
We are back from the British Virgin Islands (BVI). We returned last night late. We are so glad to be home, and had a crazy day yesterday with all the flight changes and problems but we are so grateful we made it safe. We'll post some great pictures later, and update as soon as the jet lag and rocking waves go away. (See my new post on my blog to understand). Post more soon! Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas spirit in the air!!

We need a little Christmas...

It's that time of year! Chels and I put the tree up on Friday, I decorated the house on Saturday, Sunday we decorated the tree and yesterday I put up the outside decorations. We still have the snow that fell the day before Thanksgiving and it is bright, sunny, and beautiful. How I miss you all! We are keeping our home very busy this year, though. I am hosting a luncheon and ornament exchange for the church ladies on the 13th, and we are having a bishopric/auxilliary leadership party, too. Debbie will be staying with us for a few days over Christmas break, so that will be fun, and work starts on our basement tomorrow! Hooray! By the way, Chelsea is playing basketball and finally enjoying it again, so that is cool, and keeps her busy. She has great coaches, and what a difference that makes. I will send more pictures of the house later. Merry Christmas!

CHRISTMAS SEASON IS HERE!!!!!
We had a fun day this morning shopping for some christmas presents (even though I got stuck in line for 3 hours for an early bird special!!!!). I then put the christmas lights on the house and it started to snow for about 30 seconds. We danced around the house to christmas music and decorated the tree! We always love this time of year and hope you are all enjoying it as well. By the way, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We hope you had a lot of great food and a fun time together. Love, US

I broke down!

Well, it's official! I am an old family man driving a minivan! I promised myself that we would never get a minivan, but I have come to realize that it is the most practical and comfortable for our family at this point in life. My baby (subaru legacy) is gone and I'm sad about that, but I must say that this van is pretty sweet! Driving a '02 Toyota Sienna XLE minivan to school now is quite the humbling experience. Here's a pic or two of my new baby.

Chelsea is 15!

My birthday was friday! My mom took me out to eat at this sushi place and I was a little unsure. But I really enjoyed it and I was happy to try something new! She later suprised me with letting me drive on the huge parking lot in front of the rodeo grounds and gave me some pointers. I find myself very addicted to driving now, however I have not gotten to the point where i feel comfortable driving around moving cars :) (this is probably a good thing)

What happened to my hair?

I felt like shaving my hair off a few weeks ago and now I want it back, but promised myself that I wouldn't grow it back until I loose 15lbs! So hopefully I won't be bald for too much longer! And here's a pic of Craig that I forgot to add to the halloween posting.

We hope everyone had a fun halloween and that you've gone to see Trevor for a cleaning! We especially had fun because it was our first time handing out candy at our own house. The kids had a blast and were so fun to watch going from door to door. The last door that Craig went to was quite entertaining as he felt it would be okay to throw a fit in front of the lady trying to hand him candy as he screamed, "I want to do it, I want to do it!" He apparently wanted to pick the candy out of the bowl himself. What a fun stage of life. We can't wait to see all of your pics! Love you all!
